How will the funding be used?
The NMSFFA, a fully incorporated 501 (c3) charitable organization, feels the fire service of the State of New Mexico needs a united voice for the betterment of the 390 plus Fire Departments in this great State. The NMSFFA is the oldest (organized in 1923) and only fire related organization that supports all firefighters, both paid and volunteer. It requires this type of funding to achieve these goals and fulfill our Mission Statement. Areas of expenditures of the funds raised with this campaign will help support:

· State of the Art Firefighting training programs

· A future Fallen Firefighter Memorial, at the State Fire Academy

· Legislative action to improve public safety in New Mexico

· Support for Self-Insurance Fund for Volunteer Firefighters

· Support for annual NMSFFA Scholarship Program

· The general welfare of the organization

The NMSFFA is registered with the IRS, New Mexico Attorney Generals Office, State Taxation and Revenue, and the Public Regulatory Commission.

Any additional questions concerning this campaign may be addressed to any of the Board members also listed on this Web Page.
